Welcome to the Bike Shack

The Bike Shack is a volunteer-run, donation-funded community bike shop managed by the NE Seattle Tool Library. We help people learn to fix their bikes and provide tools for community use. Our volunteer mechanics also are available to help with repairs. We welcome everyone to come in and use our tools, ask us questions, or buy selected parts. No membership in the Tool Library is necessary to make use of the Bike Shack services.

We are now open in the new, bigger space in the old LaVilla Dairy at 10228 Fischer Place NE, just off Lake City Way. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The Bike Shack cannot take donations of complete or partial bikes, or frames. Please donate bikes to Bike Works or The Bikery. Thanks!

Hours

We are grateful to be co-located with the NE Seattle Tool Library and we are open at the same hours as the Tool Library. Get a membership with the Tool Library to borrow many useful bike and non-bike tools for up to a week at a time! (No membership is required to use the Bike Shack.)

Please donate! All donations go toward rent, tools, and bike parts.
